Throughout the 1990s the Vantage was maintained by marque exponents RSW and main agents HWM with invoices on file. Specified with a ‘state of the art’ Pioneer 9300 stereo system and graphic equalizer mounted centrally at the top of the dashboard, invoices held on file detail service work carried out by Aston Martin Works and main agent Hyde Vale until 1987, whereupon the car was sold to its third owner, a respected Aston Martin enthusiast, who entrusted maintenance of the Vantage to Autokraft LTD, famed constructors of Mk4 AC Cobra’s and superb Spyder conversions of Ferrari Daytona models, located at the Brooklands Industrial Park, Weybridge Supplied new on 8th December 1980 by AM Sales Ltd, this ‘Oscar India’ Vantage was delivered in rare and attractive Sebring Blue coachwork with dark blue hides and blue carpets to first owner Sir John Mayhew-Sanders, chairman of the engineering group ‘John Brown’ and leading spokesman for Anglo-Soviet trade at the time
